AGC Media Statement on the Court of Appeal Matter: Vellama Marie Muthu v AG [CA no. 97 of 2012]

In its judgment dated 5 July 2013, the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal brought by Mdm Vellama d/o Marie Muthu (“the Appellant”) against the High Court’s decision to dismiss her application for declarations concerning the Prime Minister’s discretion under Article 49 of the Constitution of Singapore (“Art 49”)
