The Straits Times article “Keeping remand numbers in check with e-tagging and reduced bail”

The remand task force in the Attorney-General's Chambers plays both an oversight and advisory role in remand matters. It works collectively with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Singapore Police Force to monitor the overall remand population regularly with a view towards reducing the number.
