The Straits Times article "Pilot scheme to deal with drink drivers raises concern”

The article sheds light on the rationale behind AGC’s pilot scheme to communicate  prosecution’s sentencing position to accused persons before their cases go to court, and addresses the concerns raised by defence counsels. The pilot scheme only applies to first-time, non-accident drink-driving offenders under s67(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Act.
