AGC Media Release - 3 Weeks' Jail For Man Who Impersonated Chinese Female To Post Racially Offensive Tweets

On 8 June 2021, Zainal Abidin Bin Shaiful Bahari (“the offender”) was convicted of two charges under section 298A of the Penal Code for committing acts which he knew would cause harm to community and racial harmony. He was sentenced to a global imprisonment term of three weeks.
