In the past few months, quite a number of people have been charged in court for COVID-19 related offences, and there may have been questions from the public as to why some were charged, while others were not. The Attorney-General's Chambers emphasizes that every case is assessed based on its own facts and circumstances, and that the prosecution takes into account a variety of factors, including the severity of the breach and the culpability of the offender.
