Forum of Chief Legal Advisors 2024 - Welcome Address by Attorney-General, Mr Lucien Wong, S.C.

Your Excellencies, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Singapore for the inaugural Forum of Chief Legal Advisors.

Today we have here Chief Legal Advisors and representatives from more than 20  jurisdictions, with some of you travelling from places as far as South America. We are also honoured to have with us the Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (“PCA”), the Secretary-General of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID”), as well as eminent legal scholars and legal practitioners.
